Truth Exposed:
The book of Job is outstanding in the revealed faith of one man; line after line shows his staunch belief and trust in God. In chapter 13:23 we read this verse: “Tell me, (God), what have I done wrong? Show me my rebellion and my sin.” When was the last time you asked the Lord this question, if ever? Previously Job had said that when he speaks to God, he expects an answer. So, I ask, is my faith strong enough to ask this question and then wait for an answer? Truthfully, my stomach turns over just thinking about it. Like Adam and Eve, we shrink and hide from our wrongdoings, not wanting to ‘fess up to the deeds and become accountable. Do I trust God enough, have faith enough in his grace and mercy to me, to ask him these 2 questions and then wait for an answer?
