Truth Exposed:  revealed

In Amos 3:7 (NIV) we read:  "Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.”  Jesus was the last prophet of the Old Testament.  I am presently conducting a weekly Bible study on Matthew 24, and verse 25 particularly captured my attention: “See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.”  God’s grace and mercy is so profound that he doesn’t hide anything from his chosen ones, the elect.  He reveals all the obstacles in our paths so that we will not fail.  In this chapter he has revealed the future that we would not be caught unaware and fall prey to the lies of the world.  His goal is for our success, not our failure.  He is handing us all the tools we need to stand strong, to be faithful and righteous.  Lord, give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts that are obedient.
