Truth Exposed: Celebration
1 Chronicles 16:7-36 is a fantastic celebration about receiving the Lord. I counted 30 action commands by the people in these verses that honor God (NLT). Bringing the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem is the equivalent of receiving Jesus into our hearts. Every time someone is saved we should be whooping it up in joy and thanksgiving, but we don’t. This is a victory like no other!!! We allow our pride to hold us back. We need leaders with the spirit of David in our churches today. Read these verses, then listen to Kool and the Gang. also Phil Wickham's House of the Lord. Spot on!!
