Truth Exposed:

In Luke 11:30 Jesus is comparing himself to the sign of Jonah.  What was that?  Jonah was in the belly of the great fish 3 days, then he was vomited up on the shore.  He was “dead” for 3 days, then he was “resurrected” and went on to preach.  This is a prophecy of the death and resurrection of Jesus; this is the sign of Jonah.  Because of Jonah’s plight, Ninevah was saved.  The same holds true for the death and resurrection of Jesus.  If he had not died and resurrected, there would be no salvation.  Now THAT is something to think about!
