Truth Exposed:  

In Leviticus 4 we have the sin offering.  This offering is given primarily for the sins of omission, those we don’t know are sins.  This offering follows the pattern of the peace offering, but for one different aspect:  the remains of the animal are taken outside the camp and burned on a wood fire.  Why?  Sin contaminates, and the camp is holy as God is there.  So, the “sin” is removed from the camp.  Christ became our sin offering; he had to be removed from the camp, Jerusalem, because he bore our sins.  He removed the contamination from the place of holiness unto the Lord.  Every feast and ritual in the O.T. points to the coming Messiah!!
