Truth Exposed: Tests
I was reading 1 Peter 1, and somewhere in the middle of the chapter I was gob-smacked me with the age-old question: why does God allow bad things to happen to good people (True Believers)? Verses 6 & 7 gives the answer, but the first line of verse 7 nails it: to show if your faith is genuine. Deuteronomy 8:2 tells us the same thing. The point: “will my faith fold under pressure?” The litmus test of our faith is trials and tribulations. Is my faith strong and sturdy, or do I need to make some fortifications?
