Stubbornness  Truth Exposed:

The first 3 chapters of Genesis are very powerful; I think they are my favorites because of the amount of knowledge they give, or don’t give. Genesis 3 is a great example of missing information. The couple ate the forbidden fruit, their eyes opened, they hid from God and then they had a parent-child conversation with him over the event; and then God sent them to a verrrrry long time-out.  Something is missing. Something a stubborn, rebellious child would do.  They went to their room without an apology.  There.  Was.  No.  Repentance.  If their eyes were opened and they now knew right from wrong, they would surely know there had to be amends.   None. Nada. Nope.  Wow!  I find this absolutely fascinating, but absolutely human.    Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if they HAD repented?     Hmmmmm  . . . . . . . . . .
