Truth Exposed:   Spiritual Gifts

1 Cor 13:1-9 tells us about gifts of Holy Spirit, and many people will tell you they are no longer for our times but we're only for the establishment of the early church. They are wrong.  No. 1, the church is not yet fully established, and it won’t be until Jesus returns.  No. 2, they are tools given to us to glorify God, lift and encourage each other, and be used in spiritual warfare. Why would God handicap his people by taking away their tools? It's like the Egyptians telling the Hebrews to make bricks without straw. And in verse 10 we are told the gifts will remain until the perfect comes. Who is the perfect? Jesus Christ. And we will certainly have all these gifts until he returns! They will not be removed one second beforehand.  Use them to the glory of God and the good of the brethren.
