Truth Exposed: Responsibility
In John 19:26-27 we read something out of the ordinary: Jesus commends the care of his widowed mother to John the Beloved. Exodus 20:12 expressly points to the biological children. Jesus had 4 brothers and at least 2 sisters (Matt 13:55, Mark 6:3). Where were they? Why did they abandon their mother and brother? Even Jesus had a dysfunctional family, making him able to sympathize with us and our families.
