Truth Exposed: Study
In Joshua 1:7-8, the Lord commands Joshua to study the book of the law constantly, day and night, and to do according to all that is written. The Lord promised that if Joshua did this, and was faithful to do so, then he would be successful and prosperous. Fast forward a few thousand years to Paul’s 2nd letter to Timothy 2:15 – study to show yourself approved to God . . . verse 19 calls every True Believer to submit to God’s authority. We are called to faithfulness and diligence in reading, studying, and obeying the word. God commands it. Anything less is unacceptable.
