Exodus 21 Explains how A person is to treat his slaves; verse 6 gives a fascinating Look into our spirit life.  If a freed slave wants to stay with his master, he must have his ear publicly pierced.  Our sign to the world that we have submitted to Christ is our public baptism.  We Pierce our hearts when we Decide to follow Christ and give up the evilness of the world.  True Believers are slaves to Christ.  Our free will allows us to stay or leave, but we must decide which world we want to live in.
