In 2 Chronicles 7:16, God is speaking to Solomon a 2nd time and makes him a promise: he chose and consecrated and he will remain in the Temple forever. John 15:16 and Ephesians 1:4 tells us we are chosen, and 1 Corinthians 6:19 tells me I am now the Temple. I am consecrated, holy, set apart for the Lord’s purpose.
