Truth Exposed: Herod the Great
One of the titles of Herod was “King of the Jews.” When the Magi came inquiring of the birth of a holy one, Matthew 2:2, that must have sent Herod over the edge. Another fact about Herod: he was a descendant of Esau, an Edomite, later called an Idumean, that made him part Jewish, but the Edomites were als0 enemies of the Jews. Bad blood all around.
