Truth Exposed: Protection
I was meditating on Psalm 91:4, and the Lord gave me a beautiful picture of this verse. We have all seen the picture of a hen covering her chicks, but the rest of the verse, the armor and protection, brought out the full picture. His faithful promises . . . Picture a hen with her wings spread out; you can see each individual feather. Now, picture each feather with a different promise of God. That is our armor (think body armor) and protection, his great and faithful promises. Are you standing on the promises in Christ, or sitting on the premises?
