Truth Exposed:   Lord’s Day

When is the Lord's Day, the day of rest?  Saturday?  Sunday?  It's day #7.   Exodus 20:8-11.  When is day #7? In Genesis 1, God numbered the days, he didn't name them. When God gave Moses the 10 Commandments, he said to remember the "Lord's Day," day 7. From that time on, the Jewish people COUNTED days, they didn't name them.  Naming days were part of the pagan societies, so the Hebrews stuck with numbers.  So, in reality, we have no idea when the 7th day actually is.  God said to work 6 days and rest on the 7^th.  Mark 2:27.  Your work schedule doesn’t matter; work 6 off on the 7^th.   Man has taken the word of the Lord and turned it into legalism. Mark 7:8 ;  Mark 7:13 tells us that the traditions of man nullify the word of God.
