Have you ever questioned Romans 5:6-7? What is the difference between righteousness and goodness? Think about this a moment before reading on. Righteousness is just and is all about the spiritual nature and obedience to spiritual precepts, while goodness is all about the carnal nature such as love, kindness, etc. which benefits society. Righteousness is doing what is right while goodness is about feeling right. Why would Christ die for one and not the other?
