Truth Exposed:   Worship

In 2 Samuel 6:16, we read that Michal despised David “in her heart.”  She held him in contempt for his manner of worshipping God.  In 2 Samuel 6:23, God punished her for this action.  How we worship the Lord is very serious business; it must be with all our heart in whatever way the Holy Spirit moves us.  What other people think of our worship doesn’t matter; God is the audience, not the crowd around us.  If we are concerned with the reaction of others, we are worshipping our own pride.  We must worship God according to what he wants, John 4:24;  Psalm 96:9, otherwise there will be consequences.  Listen to Eddie James.
