Truth Exposed:  building material

In Exodus 25:3-7 God gives a list of material the people are to donate for the building of the Tabernacle.  Remember, this is a nation of fleeing slaves.  However did they come up with all this massive wealth, and it was quite massive.  Exodus 11:2-3 tells us that the Hebrews “plundered” the Egyptians so that they walked away with mountains of merchandise.  The blessings were to be used for God.  Likewise, the same is with us.  We are blessed to be a blessing, not to be selfish hoarders for our own pleasure.  God gives, and he also requires a giving.
