Truth Exposed: Anticipation
The season of Advent is long over, the Christ-child has been born. We are now in the season of Anticipation, Maranatha, come Lord Jesus, even so, come. Luke 21 tells of the events to happen before Messiah returns, verse 28 tells us to look to the heavens, not for his star, but for his glorious return. Our focus should no longer be on an infant, but on the almighty King of Kings. The O.T. WAS all about preparing for the infant; the N.T. IS about anticipating and preparing for the Risen King.
