Truth Exposed:   Replenish

In the history of mankind there have been 2 earth-destroying cataclysmic events recorded in scripture: Gen 1:1-2 and Gen 7:17-24. In Gen 1:28 the original couple were directed to “replenish” the earth. Now, in Gen 9:7 Noah is directed “to be fruitful and “replenish” the earth again. A 2^nd complete start-over.  This time his helpers are recorded; the 3 sons and wives. Incredible. Is there a 3^rd replenishing? Yes, I believe so, but of a different sort. Matt 28:19 directs us to “. . . go and make disciples of all nations . . .” We are to “replenish” the earth with people of God.  Adam, Eve, and the Noah family birthed humans in the natural; we are to continue the process now in the spiritual, re-birthing the humans into the Kingdom of God. The directive to “be fruitful, replenish, and fill the earth” continues.
