Contentment Truth Exposed:

The prophet Jeremiah was alive during the Babylonian Captivity, though not a captive himself.  Yet his preaching reached the exiles.  Jeremiah 29 is a letter to the exiles and in verse 7 we read: “Also, pray for the place to which you have been exiled, for as it prospers so shall you prosper.”  Deep inclinations in this chapter, especially this verse.  Jeremiah is counseling contentment in your current circumstances, and that is gained only by prayer.  Whatever situation we may find ourselves, pray for prosperity in the natural and the spiritual, and then bloom where you’re planted. Phil 4:1-13
