Truth Exposed:    Jealousy #2

As noted in the previous blog on jealousy, it can be both negative and positive.  This blog will deal with the negative aspect.  People get jealous because they perceive a threat, many times unfounded, to something they value, i.e. personal, professional, emotional, or relational.  Fear and/or possessiveness are usually the driving forces.  In Acts 5:17 we read the pharisees were jealous of the apostles.  Why?  They were so jealous that they beat the apostles with whips, Acts 5:40. Why?  Matthew 6:1, 23:1-36, Mark 7:6, Luke 20:46-47, and many more. How many times did Jesus call them out?
