Truth Exposed: Chosen
Have you ever wondered why the Jews are God’s “chosen people?” What made them more special than any other people group? The answer is found in Deuteronomy 7:7-9, specifically verse 8: God made a promise, and kept it. The promise? He would make, from Abraham, a great nation. (See Abraham and Abraham #2.) When God makes a promise, he keeps it, even if he makes it to a pagan. Incredible! Abraham, a practicing pagan, submitted to The Almighty God of Heaven and Earth, and became THE Founding Father of Judaism. Is anything too hard for the Lord?
