Truth Exposed: Baptism #3
When we open our hearts to Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit and enter into eternal life. But we still have to live on this earth, and that requires an added boost of power. This is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 10:38 we read that Jesus himself received this power. If Jesus needed this power, how much more so do we? Verses 44-46 then tells us of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Believers. Only then were they water baptized. Amazing.
