Reconciliation  Truth Exposed:

Forgiveness is critical to our spiritual health; Matthew tells us this in Matt 6:14-18, yet there is another component to this matter.  Matt 5:23-24 says: “. . . if your brother or sister has something AGAINST YOU, go and make amends . . .”     Uh-oh.  You mean I have to go and reconcile with someone who is upset WITH ME?   Isn’t that THEIR responsibility?  Making amends with the brethren is all of our responsibility.  2 Corinthians 5:18. Baby Believers might not grasp the biblical concept of forgiveness.  Or they may be stubborn about it.  Or they don’t know how to apologize.  Or they’re afraid of repercussions.  Whatever the reason, we are showing the mercy, grace, and compassion of Jesus when we make the first move.  We are being obedient and witnessing at the same time.  We fail to see what we are reading and if we don’t know our scriptures, we become entrapped by false teaching!! Be careful!!!!  We need to read intentionally, slowly, seeing the words.
