Truth Exposed: Right Eye
1 Samuel 10:27 gives us the account of Israelites having their right eyes gouged out. For what purpose? It caused them to be damaged goods; unfit for the military duty; and submission to the enemy. The right eye symbolized strength and ability, especially for warriors. The people of Gad and Reuben were now totally defenseless, with no men to do battle. Complete humiliation. Want to cripple a nation? Remove their ability to fight.
