Truth Exposed:   Jesus’ Nursery

Was Jesus born in a barn or cave? I don’t think either. Micah 4:8 references the “tower of the flock”, which was known as Migdal Eder.  It was 1 Roman mile, about 2000 paces, from Bethlehem and a most logical place for the family to go to. Luke 2:7 tells us the town was full-up, so the family was pointed outside town, probably to the tower. Clean, Sanitary, quiet, it was the holy nursery for the Temple lambs used in the sacrifices, especially Passover.  These lambs were protected so that they had no marks or injuries, no defects whatsoever.   Most appropriate for the Lamb of God Who would die for us.
