Truth Exposed: Worship #6
As I started to read Psalm 33, I was immediately stopped at the first verse by the preposition “in.” Sing for joy IN the Lord . . . not TO the Lord. Huh? There had been 14 continuous days of praise and worship at the dedication of Solomon’s Temple, 2 Chronicles 7:1-11, and the Lord had showed up in the Shekinah Glory. All of Israel that was present was enclosed IN this glory, they were IN the Lord!!!! John 17:20-21 and Ephesians 4:4-6 tells us that we are now one IN the Lord, literally. We marvel at the O.T. but we are actually living it in the N.T.
