Truth Exposed: Comfort
Several friends have lost loved ones in the past couple of weeks, and I don’t know about you, but I just can’t seem to come up with soothing words of comfort; everything I want to say sounds so ……. banal and trite. But today the Lord impressed upon my heart Numbers 6:24-26: “May the Lord bless you and protect you. 25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. 26 May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” The Aaronic blessing. So beautiful. It seems to cover everything I want to say. Personalize it. God is sooooo good!!
