Truth Exposed: Everlasting
The word everlasting denotes something that has no end, like the word of God, 1 Peter 1:25. Old Testament or New Testament, God’s word is God’s word, it doesn’t end with a certain time period. Genesis 17:7 is the Abrahamic covenant. All of these are for the True Believer through our adoption. Genesis 9:11, 16 is the covenant with Noah. The Mosaic covenant is covered in Exodus 19-24. The Davidic covenant is in 2 Samuel 7:12-16. All of these are everlasting. Nothing has changed. No matter where God’s word is written in the bible, it stands forever. Please, don’t ever be deceived into thinking that the O.T. has no relevance today; that’s just a trick of Satan to turn you away from all of God’s word.
