Truth Exposed: The Anointing
When Samuel anointed Saul as the future king of Israel, 1 Samuel 10:1, he told him four things were about to happen to him,
- The Spirit of God would come on him
- He would prophesy
- He would become a different person
- He was to do God’s will
In Acts 2:1-6, Pentecost, the very same thing happened to the True Believers. And the exact same thing happens to us when we receive Christ, only the Holy Spirit does not come ON us, he lives IN us. We become different people spiritually, which is manifested in our physical lives, changed to do God’s will. Where Saul was physically anointed, we are spiritually anointed. Glory to God!!!!!
