Truth Exposed:  

Luke 12:47-48 tells us in no uncertain terms that we will give an accounting of every sin, known and unknown.  No exception, no excuse.  That goes beyond ouchie!!!  How do I know if I did something that I didn’t know was a sin?   Self-examination.  We ask Holy Spirit to search our hearts and reveal to us what it is.  And we will definitely get an answer.  Then comes the acknowledgement of our wrong doing and repentance.  Otherwise, the boom will definitely be lowered.  Not saying I’m sorry I got caught, but that I don’t ever want to do that again, repentance.  The 4^th step in recovery is to make a fearless moral inventory of ourselves.  And we are definitely in recovery from sin!  Not pleasant yet critically necessary.  Always ask the question:  does it glorify God?  If not, it’s sin.
