Truth Exposed:   Worthy

Luke 20:35 states that only those “. . . worthy of be raised from the dead . . .”  The Greek translation of “worthy” means “to deem extremely deserving.”  Who of us qualifies for that distinction?  Matthew 22:14 says not everyone is going to make it! Matthew 10:37 tells us that if Christ is not primary, we are not worthy.  Colossians 1:10 gives us the formula for being worthy, to be extremely deserving.  When we purposely transform our thinking and take on the mind of Christ, we become worthy, Romans 12:2.  Our God demands loyalty, obedience, love, and respect to be considered worthy.  As it should be.  It's not about our worth, but our spiritual attitude.
