God sings   Truth Exposed: 

At the end of Zephaniah 3:17 we read: “. . . he (God) will exalt over you with loud singing.” I have never thought about God singing, never mind he not only SINGS over me, but LOUDLY.  To exalt means to be extremely joyous.  That sure isn’t my picture of the Lord God Almighty!  For him to take such great pleasure in me is mind-bending.  Yet, we are made in his image, therefore we exalt and sing loudly over HIM when we begin to sing praises, especially in church.  With rapturous joy.  Not caring what others think.  Abandoning ourselves to loving on him the same as he loves on us.  In all the scriptures we are given clues to the character and personality of the Lord, yet we know so little about him.  All the positiveness about us is God.  All the good, funny, joy we have is him!  Want to know God?  Examine your positive side and see the Lord.  Of course, we will always find this in scripture.
