Truth Exposed:  prayers

Luke 22:31-32 has always thrilled me as Jesus prayed for Peter, and it has always encouraged me to know that Jesus prays for me, and you, also.  There are 3 N.T. passages that confirm this:  John 17:20-26;  Romans 8:34; and Hebrews 7:25.  Talk about comfort, peace, and joy!!  His deep love for us keeps being revealed in so many ways; we read, but we don’t see.  Jesus Messiah, the perfect intercessor who has the perfect words of grace and mercy for an imperfect creature.  It takes my breath away.  Great is his faithfulness, his mercies are new every morning.
