Baptism  Truth Exposed:

The Baptism of Holy Spirit is a hot potato for a lot of Christians and many of them refuse to accept it, but, as usual, scripture proves itself.  John the Baptist, in Luke 3, was baptizing repentant people when Jesus came and asked to be baptized.  How many times have you heard or read that story?  In 3:16b we read a very prophetic statement by John: “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”  This prophecy was fulfilled in Acts 2:3-4 and further evidence is found in 1 Corinthians 13 & 14.  Amos 3:7 tells us “Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.”   God doesn’t hide anything from us; he shows us everything we need to further the Kingdom, use as weapons in our spiritual warfare, and glorify his name. We just need eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts that believe.
