Truth Exposed:  

Numbers 3:10 makes a very hard statement:  anyone who was not a priest and  would get too near the sanctuary of the Lord would be put to death.  Yikes!!  The priests stood between God and the people, serving as intermediaries and protectors.  In the N.T. we are called the “royal priesthood” for several reasons, but one of the most important, to me, is that WE are now the sanctuary, Christ lives in us, and we need not fear being put to death because WE are also the priests.  We are the ones who intercede for those who don’t know Christ.  We are protectors and caretakers.  Realizing the truth of scripture just keeps getting more and more exciting!
