Truth Exposed:

Job is an awesome book; I am always amazed at what I find in it.  Chapter 19: 25-27 records one of the most fabulous faith-statements of the Old Testament:  “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. . .”  Job lived during the time of Abraham, well before the giving of the Law, yet his faith-beliefs are staggering.  How did he know this?  How did he know Christ would return to earth?  How did he know he himself would have a resurrected body?   During his lifetime there were no priests and rabbis.  The answer lies in the book itself; we see where God spoke to him personally, a one-on-one conversation, questioning him and giving him answers.  And there you have it, God spoke to Job, friend to friend.  Oh, how my heart yearns with me, that I would be so blessed!
