Truth Exposed: Peter
Dearly beloved Peter, always in trouble with one thing or another. From trying to stop a work of God, to denying Jesus 3 times, to falling asleep on the Mount of Olives, to refusing to have his feet washed, to trying to stop children; John 13:8, Mark 10:13, Matt 16:21-23 Galatians 2:11-16, Matt 26:40, 47, Paul really lays into Peter for his hypocritical attitude in Galatians 2:11-16. Yet he was a great leader of the early church. We all fall short of the glory of God, even the great ones. It seems the weaker we are, the more God can and does use us. Our failures are our lessons; allow them to teach us, and others, through God’s grace.
